Focus

"My focus is on solving problems for clients, providing effective strategy, and engineering the early resolution of disputes in their favour, rather than just leading clients through a legal process with an uncertain outcome.

This requires identification and a clear understanding of the important factual and legal features of the dispute, and consideration of our clients’ commercial interests and desired outcomes, to craft practical and cost-effective solutions which put our clients in the best possible position to achieve the results they seek as quickly as possible."

Regarding the QBCC

‍"In 2014, I became opposed to radical legislative reforms imposed on the Queensland building industry which (in my view) included provisions which appeared calculated to strip contractors of important rights and protections, that were unnecessarily broad in scope, and which have since been used unfairly and harshly against contractors.

I have since maintained a particular interest and expertise in assisting contractors against QBCC regulatory action, as well as assisting consumers which QBCC's mishandling of statutory insurance claims."
